St. Edna Parish Mission Statement 2023

In the spirit of the Renew My Church initiative, the Parish Pastoral Council has collaborated and finalized a new St. Edna Parish Mission Statement (which now graces our Bulletin cover):

St. Edna Catholic Community calls and inspires all generations to be instruments of Jesus’ love through prayer, formation, service and fellowship.

“Parish Spiritual Renewal”, as found in the Renew My Church principles, states that:

“Parishes are families of faith where we grow spiritually ---- both personally ---- and as a community; where we experience a profound and personal encounter with Jesus Christ through His Church; where we can fulfill our desire for mission and service; where we need to feel welcomed, loved and a deep sense of belonging.”

Our new Mission Statement encompasses all of the above and should be an inspiration for parishioners to deepen their commitment in making St. Edna Parish a community where all are welcomed and strengthened in their faith.
