Ministry of Young Adults (MOYA)

MOYA  -  The St. Edna Ministry Of Young Adults

MOYA is a Catholic ministry for adults ages 21-30, focused on building friendships while deepening our relationship with Jesus. Through fellowship, prayer, and exploring the Gospel, we grow in faith together and support one another in life’s journey.

We meet every Wednesday from 7:30-9:30 PM in the Teen Center (Door 5) for discussions, prayer, and community. Outside of our weekly gatherings, we also enjoy spontaneous other events with one another.

Recently, we’ve been serving together at Lenten fish fries and are expanding our volunteer efforts to include organizations like the Lutheran Home, Feed My Starving Children, local food pantries, and assembling “blessing bags” for those in need.

We always welcome new faces and fresh ideas to help grow our ministry. If you’re looking for a faith-filled community of like-minded young adults, we’d love to have you join us!

We have members from 14 different universities and several trade schools, as well as 6 universities will current students from our group.

Our annual BBQ was on June 16th. 24 people joined us for burgers, hot dogs, and a variety of side dishes and plenty of desserts!
