Come Join Us for our St. Edna Trunk or Treat!

We are in need of volunteers.

Please consider giving some time (and register below)!

Looking for a safe and inviting place to bring your kids to trick or treat this year? Aching to get outside for some go old fashion fall fun? And hey, want a FREE pumpkin to take home as a memento of your fantastic family day?

Then October 20 from 2:00pm-4:00pm in the St. Edna parking lot is the place to be! Grab your costumes and trick or treat bags and head on over for candy and goodies, all from the trunk of our parishioners’ cars. When you have collected all your goodies, head over to the St. Edna pumpkin patch just next door to the Parish Center and grab a FREE pumpkin for the family.

Oh, and did I mention there would be fall fun games for families to play and win prizes? On your way out please stop by the Charlie Brown photo display to get your family picture taken.

So why go way out of town to a HUGE pumpkin farm with TONS of people when you can walk over to your home parish with lower crowds for just as much fun. We would love to see you there! Here is the link to register each of your trick or treaters!!!

Please come in costume if you are volunteering on site. Prizes for the best costume and best decorated car will be given out! But PLEASE keep in mind that this is a church event when picking out your costume and/or car decoration. No overly scary costumes or decorations please.

Volunteers Needed to Help with the Trunk or Treat!!!

I am so excited to bring this opportunity back to the parish this year to help our families get out of their isolation fatigue and back out together in community to celebrate the fall season. But it can’t be done without the help of some fantastic volunteers like yourself!

I am looking for helpers of ALL AGES to assist with our St. Edna Trunk or Treat on October 20 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Areas of need are as follows:

 Sign up to bring your car and pass out treats from your trunk

 Help monitor the pumpkin patch

 Decorate cars/facilities

 Assist in leading the games

 Traffic control

 Donate a bag or two of candy to help supply the volunteers

 Set up/ Take down/Clean Up

Also, all volunteers are asked to dress up in costume and trunk participants are asked to decorate their cars as elaborate or as simple as you would like. BUT please decorate the cars kid friendly or child themed. And there will be a prize for best costume for the volunteers as well as for best trunk!
